Communities of Hope Civic Media
Communities of Hope Civic Media is a founding member of the Rhode Island News Collaborative (RINC.news). We officially launched in 2022 to serve the most vulnerable communities in Rhode Island through multiple news and civic education services. We produce a weekly live radio show on WQRI 88.3 FM, a YouTube newscast, a newsletter, and our website. We do solutions journalism investigations and cover stories with our multiple communities such as refugees, immigrants & diaspora communities, incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people, youth in foster care, disabled individuals and communities, environmental and climate justice issues, civic participation, LGBTQIA+, race and ethnicity, labor issues, and much more.
