A Poulsbo girl died in a multi-vehicle, head-on collision involving a Jefferson Transit Authority (JTA) bus outside Port Ludlow on March 3.

Pelilu Wines, 17, was driving west on State Route 104, just east of its intersection with Beaver Valley Road, when she crossed the centerline and crashed head-on into the eastbound bus, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP).

A third vehicle, driving in the westbound lane behind Wines, was hit by the bus.
