Henderson assistant city attorney John Cory and Clark County prosecutor Michael Allmon are competing for a newly created seat on Henderson Justice Court.

Henderson Justice of the Peace Department 4 was created to meet the court’s growing caseload. Allmon and Cory — both first time candidates — advanced to the Nov. 3 general election after defeating two other candidates in the June primary.
