AIRWAY HEIGHTS — The City Council is considering asking voters to abandon its council-manager form of government in favor of a strong mayor.

During the Monday, July 13, City Council study session, City Attorney Daniel Gibbons of Paine Hamblen presented Resolution 2026-017, which would place the question before voters during the Nov. 3 general election if approved by the council at a later date.
