Two Alabama House incumbents managed to hold off challengers in Tuesday’s primary runoffs as voters around the state chose federal and state nominees for office.

Rep. Frances Holk-Jones, R-Orange Beach, defeated Joe Freeman, an investment adviser, in the Republican primary for Alabama House District 95. The district covers southern Baldwin County, including Orange Beach, Gulf Shores and Foley.
