The Alabama Senate on Wednesday sent a $3.7 billion 2027 General Fund budget Gov. Kay Ivey.

SB 146, sponsored by Sen. Greg Albritton, R-Atmore, is an $8.1 million (0.2%) increase over the current year’s budget, and about $49 million more than Gov. Kay Ivey’s recommendation.
