Allina Health doctors, physician assistants and nurse practitioners reached a tentative agreement with Allina for their first union contract late Wednesday evening, more than two years after forming the nation’s largest private-sector union of advanced care practitioners.

Ninety percent of union members had voted in early March to authorize an open-ended strike if they couldn’t reach an agreement with the large health system.
