A charity launched by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is giving $30 million to Little Rock to develop a 23-acre park downtown, city officials announced Tuesday.

The funding from the Bezos Earth Fund’s Greening America’s Cities Program will go toward the creation of 30 Crossing Park. The park will be located in a vacant area that had been the location of an exit ramp off Interstate 30 in the city’s River Market district.
