Democratic U.S. Reps. Greg Stanton and Yassamin Ansari visited a lesser known Immigration and Customs Enforcement holding facility in Mesa Friday and said they left feeling “deeply concerned” about the conditions.

“What I witnessed today and learned during our oversight visit at the ICE holding facility at the Mesa Gateway Airport was deeply disturbing — sickening, actually,” Ansari, a Phoenix Democrat, told reporters after the visit.
