The families of hundreds of children with autism spectrum disorder fear they’ll lose access to therapies they rely on, and they say that Arizona’s Medicaid program is to blame.

Families and advocates gathered Thursday at the state Capitol in Phoenix to call on the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System, the state’s Medicaid plan, to ensure that its contracted care organizations are actually providing the care for which they are paid.
