Clark and Washoe counties are gearing up this week to resume an early-morning count of the number of unsheltered folks in an effort to better grasp the number of people experiencing homelessness.

Strict guidelines by the U.S. Housing and Urban Development on who should and shouldn’t be included mean the findings won’t reflect a full accounting of people experiencing homelessness and precarious housing.
