At first, the 2026 political mailers slipped under my radar, camouflaged in the mailbox among furniture ads and envelopes addressed to Resident. When I’d look through the day’s mail, I would pause to roll my eyes at the candidates’ over-the-top messaging, then toss the mailers into the recycling bin with the rest of the junk.
