An Iowa nursing home worker has been issued a warning for failing to intervene and provide care for a patient who died.

In July 2025, the Iowa Board of Nursing charged licensed practical nurse Larae Pemberton, 60, with committing an act that might adversely affect the welfare of a patient, and with failing to assess or report the status of a patient as required under state regulations.
