The state Public Disclosure Commission has dismissed complaints over Jefferson County’s parks levy insert that was mailed with Public Utility District bills, finding any violation of state law was minor and had been corrected.

The three complainants allege that the PUD, by including the insert, violated state law regarding the use of public facilities or resources to support or oppose a candidate or ballot measure.

The state Public Disclosure Commission published its decision July 15.
