SIOUX FALLS — A judge in Minnehaha County set a December trial date on Tuesday for a South Dakota state senator facing election-related felony charges.

Dell Rapids Republican Tom Pischke, 44, is charged with two felony counts of filing a forged or false instrument for allegedly signing and submitting candidate nominating petitions for county party precinct positions without those candidates’ knowledge.
