A leader in the West Virginia House of Delegates has requested that Gov. Patrick Morrisey call lawmakers into a special session so they can consider how to deal with Del. Elliott Pritt’s seat following his arrest.

Pritt, R-Fayette, could face expulsion from the House.

A public school teacher, Pritt was charged Wednesday with seducing a 15-year-old girl. He is being held in a Kentucky jail and has not yet resigned from his seat.
