A longtime state representative from Tuskegee will face a university administrator in a runoff on June 16 for the Democratic nomination for House District 82.

Incumbent Pebblin Warren, D-Tuskegee, will face Sidney Brown, assistant chief of staff at Tuskegee University in the district, which includes Macon County and a portion of Lee County. According to the Alabama Secretary of State’s office, Warren had 2,784 (48.16%) votes in unofficial returns. Brown had 1,336 (23.11%) votes.
