Sens. Stephanie Chang (D-Detroit) and Mary Cavanagh (D-Redford Twp.), Rep. Veronica Paiz (D-Harper Woods) and Detroit Council Member Gabriela Santiago-Romero have sent a letter to the ICE Detroit Field Director calling for the release of two Michigan residents who were detained on Feb. 2 by ICE in Hazel Park, at or near an Amazon facility. Both were Amazon Flex drivers on their way to the facility for work.
