EWU earns national recognition again

CHENEY – Eastern Washington University has been named a 2026-27 College of Distinction for the second consecutive year, earning national recognition for its approach to teaching and student success.

The designation is awarded to colleges and universities that demonstrate a commitment to engaged, hands-on learning and positive student outcomes. In addition to the national honor, Eastern was recognized as a College of Distinction among Washington colleges, public universities and in eight specialized categories.
