FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE – More than a dozen airmen here were awarded top military honors March 31 for their actions during recent combat operations, according to the U.S. Air Force.

Fifteen members of Team Fairchild received the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Bronze Star Medal during a ceremony led by Maj. Gen. Charles Bolton, commander of the 18th Air Force.
