FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE – The Air Force will expand drinking water testing around Fairchild Air Force Base and begin installing more in‑home water filters this fall to help address per- and polyfluoroalkyl contamination.

Representatives from the state Department of Ecology and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency briefed the community April 8 on Fairchild’s next steps in the investigation and response.
