A federal appeals court on Tuesday upheld an injunction prohibiting Arkansas from enforcing a requirement that all voter registrations be signed in ink.

The plaintiffs, Get Loud Arkansas, filed a lawsuit after the State Board of Election Commissioners issued an emergency rule prohibiting digital signatures on voter registrations in the lead up to the 2024 general election. The commission later approved a permanent rule.
