An alleged whistleblower who reported she was fired from a nursing home after being instructed to “keep your mouth shut” about a resident’s death has dropped her lawsuit.

Tylene Schultz had sued the Fonda Specialty Care nursing home, its parent company, Care Initiatives, and licensed practical nurse Becky Manning in Pocahontas County District Court.
