Republican voters on Tuesday in Randolph, Chambers and Lee counties will choose their nominee for House District 37 in a primary runoff election.

In the May 19 primary, retired firefighter Jeff Monroe got 3,050 votes (38.3%) and Randolph County Superintendent John Jacobs got 2,766 votes (34.7%), according to unofficial returns. A third candidate, Donna Bailey McKay, got 2,149 votes (27%).
