Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford has joined state attorneys general from across the country in opposing an effort by the Trump administration to roll back federal fair housing regulations.

U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development issued a proposed rule change in January seeking to change provisions in the Fair Housing Act adopted in 2013 under President Barack Obama that enabled a new standard for establishing whether the act was violated based on discrimination.
