Gov. Greg Gianforte is accepting applications and nominations to fill a district court vacancies in the Sixth Judicial District, his office said in a news release Tuesday.

The chief justice of the Montana Supreme Court notified the governor of the vacancy in the Sixth Judicial District, comprising Park and Sweetgrass counties, on Feb. 5, 2026.
