Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced Thursday she was extending the deployment of around 100 Arkansas National Guard personnel to the nation’s capital.

The deployment of the 142nd Field Artillery Brigade to Washington was part of the National Guard presence there, and was first announced in November. The extension of the “routine rotational relief” mission is for 90 days.
