GRANT COUNTY, Wash. - The number of people killed by drug overdoses in Grant County hit a record high in 2025, according to the Coroner's Office.

38 were killed, up from 34 in 2024, said Coroner's Office Investigator KC Sherwood. This as data from the University of Washington's Addictions, Drug & Alcohol Institute shows the statewide death toll has been falling slightly since 2024.
