HELENA — On a sunny and bright St. Patrick’s Day in downtown Helena, Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte stopped at Gulch Distillers for a tasting and to highlight the state’s Growth Through Agriculture grant and loan program.

March is National Agriculture Month and the state program, created in 1987, provides grants up to $50,000 and loans up to $100,000 for projects that “add value to Montana’s agricultural products,” according to the program’s guidelines.
