Eleven startups in Alexandria, Virginia, are getting a boost toward their success in high-growth sectors like hardware, cybersecurity and healthtech.

Accelerate ALX, organized out of the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership and led by the government-contracting focused platform FedTech, today announced its inaugural cohort and program schedule. It will host full-class workshops about once a week, according to program co-lead Philomena Fitzgerald. But one-on-one mentorship is the main priority.
