Christina Bohannan will fight incumbent Mariannette Miller-Meeks to represent Iowa’s 1st Congressional District, the Associated Press projected Tuesday, with Iowans using their primary votes to set up the match.

The Associated Press called the primary for Iowa’s 1st Congressional District in favor of Christina Bohannan at 8:47 p.m. over rival Democrat Travis Terrell, and called the Republican primary for Miller-Meeks nearly 30 minutes later over David Pautsch.
