The state of Iowa has suspended the license of a nursing home worker who was criminally charged with forging a physician’s signature on records.

Licensed practical nurse Jamie Jorgensen, 38, of Ankeny, was charged in November with two counts of forgery. At the time, Jorgensen listed her place of employment as “nursing home.” Police records indicate the alleged forgery took place at 21st Century Rehab in Altoona and involved Jorgensen submitting “doctor notes to her …
