JAFFREY — The Jaffrey-Rindge Cooperative School District presented its financial plan to make up a $1.5 million shortfall at a school board meeting Monday, proposing cuts to universal pre-K, daycare for its staff and over 20 staff positions.The sober meeting followed voters’ rejection of a $33.5 million budget proposal last week, leaving the district to make do with a roughly $32 million default budget.
