Jefferson County Deputies arrested 24-year-old Robert John Cuevas of Bremerton on Jan. 6, after Cuevas allegedly assaulted a man with a sawed-off shotgun, as the victim and his girlfriend were parked in a pickup near a roadside memorial along Center Road.

After the assault, the victim and his passenger fled the scene and called 911.

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched, and upon arrival, they learned that a 25-year-old male victim was seated in his pickup truck …
