Jefferson County has restructured its public works department, announcing several new leadership appointments on Jan. 12.

Eric Kuzma was promoted to Public Works Director on Jan. 1.

Former Public Works Director, Monte Reinders, vacated the position on Dec. 31.

Monte has assumed the duties of the Roads and Fleet Operations Manager, while still serving as county engineer. He will also take on many of the responsibilities of Dale Brownfield, who recently retired as roads superintendent.
