Graduation season came and went this month across Jefferson County, with seniors donning their caps and gowns and moving their tassels from right to left to signal the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

One hundred seventy-seven students from Port Townsend, Chimacum and Quilcene high schools made up the graduating class of 2026, with most having been born in either 2007 or 2008 and starting grade school in 2013.
