Jefferson County sends off high school seniors

Graduation season has come and gone in East Jefferson County.

One hundred sixty-seven students graduated from Port Townsend, Chimacum and Quilcene high schools, including one who died in World War II.

Most 2025 graduates — born in 2006 and 2007 — started grade school in 2012.

Graduates were celebrated in the weeks leading up to the big day with parades, scholarship awards and athletic signing ceremonies.
