EDITOR’S NOTE: This article was corrected April 3 to reflect funding for the pay plan is $6.5 million. Idaho State Police had originally requested $12.6 million from the Law Enforcement Project Choice Fund to implement the pay plan.

The Idaho Legislature’s budget committee voted to move money around Wednesday to pay for a new $6.5 million pay plan for Idaho State Police commissioned officers.
