Ken McMillen, a former, longtime Jefferson County Public Utility District (PUD) commissioner for District 2, died Feb. 27 at the age of 92.

The PUD communications team shared the news March 9.

McMillen served the elected position for 25 years and oversaw the agency’s growth from water and wastewater service to electric and wholesale broadband.
