In reflecting on the countless losses of 2025 on a national, state and personal level, I wonder if perspective can be unearthed. Still, in an attempt to reach a perspective, I offer the following commentary. In the end, I think that we, as Americans, as West Virginians are called to not only unearth a clear perspective, but to take a deep breath and embrace it.
