Lummi Island residents will travel to and from the mainland on a pedestrian-only ferry between April 25 and May 17 as the vehicle ferry undergoes yearly maintenance. Unlike in previous years, Whatcom County will not be offering a shuttle service to help people get where they’re going when on the island.
