LYNDON — The Select Board on Monday awarded a nearly $4.8 million contract to permanently replace two bridges on Red Village Road that were destroyed in the July 2024 flash floods.

Board members unanimously accepted the low bid from CCS Constructors Inc. for the replacement of bridges 13 and 17 in the amount of $4,793,000 and authorized the board chair to sign the notice of award.
