Maine is expected to bring in even more over the next two years than previously anticipated, though the state’s longer term financial growth is bleaker.

Over the next four years, Maine’s general fund, which is mostly made up of taxes and fees, is expected to see about $76 million less or a .3% reduction than earlier predictions, according to preliminary estimates from the Maine Revenue Forecasting Committee discussed Thursday.
