William Russell-Leonard was sentenced to seven years and five months in prison Tuesday for the June 2025 crash that killed two passengers after he drove a vehicle off the Edmonds-Kingston ferry dock. The victims were Melanie Elizabeth Ross, 48, of Auburn and Porsha C. Sapp, 45, of Lakewood.

Two other passengers – Licia Tracey Gonzalez, 30, of Auburn and Jose Luis Serrano, 38, of Federal Way – survived.
