Maryland Matters reporters brought home eight first place awards, seven second places and two best of show awards Friday from the Maryland-Delaware-DC Press Association for their work in 2025.

The haul was an improvement over last year, which itself was a new high, when the staff landed seven firsts, four seconds and a best of show.
