Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes says she’s weighing whether to take the Trump administration to court to stop an immigration detention center from being built in Surprise.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security last month purchased a massive 418,400-square-foot warehouse in the suburb northwest of Phoenix. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement later confirmed it would be converted into a 1,500-bed detention center.
