Measles has spread to a fourth county in North Dakota, with state Health and Human Services reporting a confirmed case in Traill County, which lies between Fargo and Grand Forks.

There also is another measles case in Pembina County for a statewide total of 23 confirmed cases to date in 2026. There are 20 cases in Pembina County in the state’s northeast corner and one each in Traill, Walsh and Williams counties.
