The Iowa Board of Behavioral Health Professionals has now disclosed disciplinary charges it filed last summer against a mental health counselor.

State records indicate that on July 29, 2025, the board filed charges against licensee Linda Diane Lawman of Ames, alleging she failed to comply with the American Counseling Association’s code of ethics.
