SALEM, N.H.— By day, officer Joey DeFeudis is in uniform meeting with students and co-teaching classes at Woodbury Middle School.

Off duty, he’s training at the Salem Athletic Club or putting the miles in on the town’s streets and roads.

To the kids, he is “Officer Joey.” To his peers and co-workers, he is empathetic, dedicated, trusted and award winning.
