Senate Minority Leader Aric Nesbitt on Wednesday sent a letter to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi requesting a federal review of financial activities at two Dearborn-based nonprofits, as well as three state agencies.

In his letter, the Porter Township Republican and candidate for governor raised concerns that state and federal funds were being used to support partisan operations and provide immigration services for individuals whose immigration status conflicts with federal policy.
